Lingnan Cat Keychain — A Custom Interactive University Keepsake
Our role in this project: Reliable Partner worked with the client to turn the Lingnan Cat concept into a customised plush keychain. We supported the design translation, interactive tail development, material and accessory coordination, sample refinement and production of the finished keepsake for the Lingnan University community.
The product was created as a commemorative university item connected with an alumni initiative. The main focus of this project was to translate a recognisable campus character into a soft, portable and interactive plush product.
Product Specifications
Design development: We translated the client’s Lingnan Cat concept into a soft and portable plush keychain while retaining the character’s recognisable features.
Interactive function: We developed the pull-and-spin tail mechanism to give the keepsake a simple and engaging point of interaction.
Material and accessory coordination: We coordinated the plush construction, keychain format, customised name tag, matching cord and dedicated plush-toy bag as one complete set.
Sampling and production: The design was refined through sample development and detail review before the finished products were produced for the client’s commemorative programme.
